Nongoma means "The mother of Song" (Zulu)

In Zimbabwe, she attended nursery school in Gweru, and then, Petra Primary School in Bulawayo.

Nongoma, which means "Mother of song" in Zulu, the language spoken by her mother is the leader, chief songwriter and vocal arranger of the band.  Born on 1st March, 1989 in Hamburg, Germany, at nine months, she could identify a note, and would sing in key.

A very gifted musician in  her own right, started composing at at  a tender age of four back in Gweru, Zimbabwe. Songs such "Family Matters". She has a high calibre in voice command. Harmony is her forté.
The driving force behind the band, Nongoma has set high standards for this young band which she single-handedly founded.

She is now doing the 11th grade National School of the Arts in Johannisburg, South Africa.

Nongoma is now at The National School of the Arts in Braamfontein, Johannesburg, South Africa. This is one of the best arts high schools in the world. Moulded on the form of the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music, Art and Performing Arts which was the idea behind the film "Fame", this school has produced some of the world's renowned musicians, actors and artists.
